Laguna Pressure Flo 12000 Pond Filter PT1506, 230V

The Laguna Pressure-Flo 12000 is a pressurised pond filter system complete with integral UVC that keeps pond water clear and healthy.

The high performance filter provides important water filtration functions that are essential for everyday pond maintenance including mechanical and biological filtration, as well as UVC sterilization.

PT1506 Pressure-Flo 12000 UVC is for ponds up to 12000 litres and comes complete with a 25-watt UV lamp, filter foams and Biosphere Bio Media.

The Pressure-Flo 12000 is designed to work in tandem with a solids handling pump such as Laguna’s Max-Flo Waterfall and Filter Pump. With the filter connected to the pump, water enters the unit through the water inlet. It then passes through the mechanical filtration stage, consisting of foam filters that intercept and trap suspended dirt and debris.

Next, water enters the biological filtration chamber where it comes into contact with Laguna Biospheres Bio Media which harbours beneficial bacteria that keep the water healthy.

Dirt-free water then passes along an integrated UVC lamp, where it is exposed to ultraviolet rays that inhibit the growth of single-celled algae organisms. Water finally returns to the pond thoroughly cleansed via the water outlet.

Pressure-Flo Filters feature a revolutionary Backwash-Cleaning System that completely cleans the entire surface of the foam filters. This patent-pending system is the only one of its kind. Backwash cleaning can easily and comfortably be done in a few minutes without opening the lid. This feature ensures that the filter performs at optimal levels for many days and prolongs the time between full maintenance sessions. An easy-view cleaning indicator signals when it’s time to perform backwash cleaning.

Laguna Pressure Flo Filters can be partially buried and installed either above or below water level due to them being a closed pressurised unit. The return water can be used to supply a waterfall or stream if desired.
