Ceramic fiber boards are manufactured and designed for thermal applications with high rigidity demands. The thermal insulation properties and abrasion resistance of the ceramic fiber boards have been improved thanks to a higher density.

Ceramic fiber boards are vacuum formed products that resist higher gas velocities than ceramic fiber blankets. It is an ideal product for furnace linings and boiler ducts because of its low thermal conductivity and low heat storage, which makes possible to reduce cycle times and allows faster access for maintaining industrial furnaces.
