Clarke HFBC12/24 12/24V, 20Amp, 230V High Frequency Battery Charger

This dual Voltage (12/24V) 20Amp high frequency battery charger features inverter and micro-processor technology which is suitable for charging batteries such as conventional lead calcium, absorbent glass matt (AGM) and gel batteries. The energy efficient inverter protects the battery from high current damage by automatically varying the charging voltage. Variable current output (20Amp, 10Amp or 2Amp) provides a quick, medium or trickle charge as required. Simple 12V, 24V push button selection. Controlled by a microprocessor, it has the advantage over conventional battery chargers of being able to provide a charging rate which is appropriate for the charge of the battery.

It also has the facility for fully automatic and maintenance charging, optimising performance and prolonging the life of the battery. LED charge indicator assists maintenance charging. Fully protected against short-circuit, reversed polarity, faulty battery, incorrect battery voltage, current overload, thermal overload and low supply voltage. LED display warns against the use of a faulty battery and incorrect voltage. An audible alarm sounds if a short-circuit occurs. Simple push button control. Lightweight protective casing with comfort handle. Handy storage compartment neatly stores clamps and supply cable at the rear of the product.
